CONTRIBUTION REMINDER:
Families that receive "In Parish" Tuition Rate are reminded of their agreement to contribute $300  to the Church for the 2011-2012 school year.  If you have not yet begun to contribute, I ask that you start to satisfy this agreement.  Thank you!
Any questions, please call Mrs. Perazzo in the Tuition office @ 938-3846 ext. 301.

The NEW uniform policy takes place in September.  For those of you who have purchased uniforms this year,  we will have a transition year in 2012-2013 where both the new uniforms and our present uniforms will be accepted.

School Reach is an efficient means of communication used by our school for the past few years. It is used to "get the word out" in a quick and timely manner.  It may be used for school closings, reminders about events, or other similar purposes.  In the event of an emergency, the School Reach call will state that it is an emergency.  Please listen to the message when you receive these calls.

As you know, decisions have been made regarding implementation of the Strategic Plan and how this will affect the Catholic elementary schools on Long Island. I am pleased to report that our school will remain open and will be a critical component of Catholic education on Long Island as we move forward. It is also with sadness that I share with you that six schools will close in June of 2012. In the coming months as the Diocese moves forward with the Strategic Plan, it is important to acknowledge these changes and to be sensitive to the needs of those at schools that will close at the end of this school year. As we move forward, we will continue to offer a quality Catholic education that meets the needs of the students in our care. Right now, I ask that you join me in praying for the students, families, teachers, principals, pastors, and staff members of the schools that will close in June.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Maryalice L. Doherty
Principal

Ask the Governor to Provide Fairness for Catholic School Families in State Budget

Take Action Now

Governor Andrew Cuomo is currently preparing his proposals for what will become the 2012-13 State Budget.  It is critical that the Governor hear from you about the needs of Catholic schools and the families they serve.  If additional funding for Catholic schools is not included in the Governor's proposed budget, then it is highly unlikely that the legislature will support the funding that is needed.

Please Take Action Now by clicking the link and sending the pre-written, full editable message to the Governor as soon as possible. Thank you.
