Favorite Book
My favorite children’s book is Charlotte’s Web by E. B. White.
What can students look forward to when they join your class?
Third grade is an exciting time because the students are introduced to cursive writing, and they master the multiplication tables. Third graders can be challenged by completing the Multiplication Race and being on the Multiplication Wall of Fame. Developing comprehension and writing skills is a focus for ELA. Novel studies will be introduced this year as well. Several book reports will be completed by the students. All their writing samples are collected and saved to be put into a Portfolio that the students can look forward to bringing home in June. Students can also look forward to going to Safety Town in Eisenhower Park.
Message to the Parents
I am grateful to be a part of such a caring school and community. Every new school year, I look forward to developing new relationships with my students and families.
