Seventh and Eighth Grade Math, 7th Religion

Teacher Information

My name is Caragh Baierlein and this is my first year teaching at Holy Family. I am so excited to be a part of such a great community! I will be teaching 7th and 8th grade math and 7th grade religion.

In 2013, I received my Bachelor's of Business Administration in Management and Marketing from Pace University. I worked in the travel industry for three years before deciding to pursue education. I completed my Master’s Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education and received my Secondary Mathematics, 7-12th grade certification in 2022. I am so excited to share what I have learned, from my time in the business world to my time in the classroom, with my students!

I love to spend my days snuggling my two dogs and teaching dance at my local studio. I love learning new things and sharing new ways to think with my students. I chose to study math because I love the fact that there are an infinite number of ways to solve a problem but you will always be able to find an answer!

What can students look forward to when they join your class?

Students can look forward to learning in new and exciting ways and being encouraged to think outside the box. Math is so exciting because you can find new ways to solve old problems!

Message to Parents

am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year! I look forward to a successful year where your child can learn as much as possible and where I can also learn from them. My goal is to create an 

environment where students are not only excited to learn about math but encouraged to become better people. I know everyone does not share my love for the subject but I hope that we are able to build a partnership which will allow your child to succeed, not only this year, but in the future as well!
