Parents and Guardians, 

    Welcome to 5th and 6th grade! I am excited to have your child as part of my class for the 2019-2020 school year. Not only will they be learning the necessary subject skills, but they will also be learning responsibility, respect, and social skills. These skills are essential for your child’s successful future. I will be modeling these important skills throughout this school year and I ask that you, as parents and guardians, do the same. 

    In addition to the school supplies, the students will be using a planner. This will allow each child to practice responsibility by writing down important information such as homework assignments, tests, and quizzes. A planner will also help your students practice organization and time management. 

    I am excited for the students to learn new things while having fun! I look forward to creating and preparing fun and interesting lessons and I want each and every child to leave my classroom with a love of learning.
